The Pryor Girls Cross Country duo of Ally Martin and Braycee Trundle are off to a great start this season.

At Claremore-Sequoyah, Trundle and Martin finished 1st and 2nd place in the Junior/Senior division.

At the Rogers State University After Dark Cross Country meet, Martin finished 46th overall and Trundle in 60th overall in the 5A/6A division with 269 runners in the field.

This past week at Muskogee, Martin finished 2nd with a time of 20:39 and Trundle finished just behind her in 3rd with a time of 20:57.

"The girls are off to a great start this season," said Girls Cross Country Head Coach, Melissa Harlow. "Their training sessions have been outstanding, and what’s been most impressive is the way they push and challenge each other to get better every single day. It’s been a lot of fun to watch them compete, grow, and experience some early success."

The girls and boys cross country teams are hosting their meet this Friday, September 18th at the course across from the new Tiger Stadium.

"We’re excited to see how their hard work and dedication continue to pay off throughout the rest of the season," added Harlow.
