Fall Sports Image

As we sprint into October, some of our fall sports are headed to the final chapter of their season. It has been a wonderful fall for Pryor High School athletics, as we have seen records broken, championships won and stadiums packed. Here is a quick update on where each sport stands and where they are headed next.

Our softball team is looking to make another deep run on their quest to win back-to-back state championships. They are currently 27-2 on the season and were crowned District Champions last week with a victory over Claremore. They will host Regionals starting next Wednesday, October 8th. Game times and opponents will be determined later this week. The Tigers will host their Pink Out night this Thursday, October 2nd against Bartlesville at 6 PM. If you can't make it to Regionals, all Pryor games will be live streamed on Youtube(search - Pryor Tiger Video). All State games will be broadcast through NFHS Network.

Our Cross Country teams continue to excel wherever the course takes them. The boys and girls are producing multiple top-20 individual performers at each meet and both teams are racing toward qualifying for the State meet on that first Saturday in November. The Boys and Girls cross country will host their conference meet on Tuesday, October 14th. Regionals for both are scheduled for October 25.

Volleyball(16-15) is wrapping up their season with three matches including this Thursday, October 2nd as they host Verdigris for Pink Out night. They will finish the regular season with Senior Night on October 9th vs. Nathan Hale. Volleyball regionals will begin on October 13th with opponents to be determined.

At Tiger Stadium, the Pryor Football boys are sitting at 4-0(1-0 in District Play) with a couple of big district matchups coming up, starting this Friday at home vs Tahlequah. The theme night for this week's game is Black Out! The Tigers will be back on the road next week as they will travel west on Highway 20 to battle the Zebras on October 10. After this week, the remaining home games are Thursday, Oct. 16(Tulsa Memorial), Friday, Oct. 24(Collinsville) and Friday, November 7(Del City). If you are out of town, you can catch all home and away football games live on Youtube (search - Pryor Tiger Video).
