“I want to understand how graphics can really tell a story,” said Pryor High School Senior Allie Horner, our new PPS News & Updates Intern.

Horner has joined the Pryor Public Schools communications team to learn more about careers in media relations. In her new role, she hopes to strengthen the student voice in District communications, focusing on connecting with students and sharing more stories featuring Pryor Tigers.

In addition to attending PHS, Horner participates in Northeast Tech’s Education Accelerated by Service and Technology (EAST) program at the Claremore Campus. The program offers a wide range of media courses, and Horner has concentrated her studies on photography and social media management.

Her interest in graphic design and visual storytelling will help her bring a fresh student perspective to PPS News & Updates. Welcome to the team!
